As I lay on my bed in the night,
Inner darkness unsure and uncertain.
And I'm losing, I'm wasting away in my mind.
The things I used to know, slowly dissipates.

As I wonder what happened in here,
Thinking: When did these troubles control me?
And I'm hoping, I'm struggling, to find a way out.
Maybe there's a day, maybe there's a way?

So I dream of a world where there's happiness.
Where I believe in the things I once did.
It looks the same on the outside and nothing's changed.
But inside everything faded away.

I watch the stars as they fall in the burning flames,
And the snow turn to blood as they melt...
In the distance the mountains all crumble,
And I'm shut in a corner forsaken.

As I collapse in the weight of these thoughts,
Knowing nothing in life will be the same again.
And my worries surround me and there's no way out,
Was it worth fighting for? Was it worth waiting for?
